John P. Reilly is a founding member and lead director of the TimkenSteel Corporation board of directors. John also serves on its nominating and corporate governance committee and audit committee. 
John’s extensive background in the automotive industry and his decades of successful executive leadership provide valuable insight for the TimkenSteel board in making strategic and business decisions. 
John served as the chairman, president and chief executive officer of Figgie International, an international diversified operating company, from 1995-1998. He accumulated more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry, serving as president and chief executive officer of Stant Corporation and Tenneco Automotive. 
He also held leadership positions at the former Chrysler Corporation and Navistar International and served as president of Brunswick Corporation.
John serves as a director and non-executive chairman of Exide Technologies, a manufacturer and recycler of lead-acid batteries, where he is a member of the compensation committee. John also will continue to serve as a member of The Timken Company board of directors, where he is a member of the compensation and audit committees.
